Ok so you may ask ' why did i use the pic above?' well it's simple.Firstly, i like planes, especially World War II fighters and the Spit is one of the finest example's.It looks stunning , exudes personality and outflew and oufought nearly everything thrown against it.Secondly , you can fit a hot lady in it,thirdly-the hot lady reminds me of my sexyass missus. It's a screen grab of Cliffs of Dover , the latest WWII sim from the creator of the IL2 series . A legend of a game amongst flight sim enthusiast's (il2), and once they fix this highly bugged creation i am sure it will become just as treasured.
My old il2 page http://il2.page.tl/ is still alive and kicking with the Seelowe Campaign and links still active but is getting over bannered by the host so have managed to import the campaign and associated links to this page as well, simply follow the old stuff/il2 campaign link to the left.
If you have any questions about anything relating to the tutorials found here or anything else regarding Cliffs of Dover you can find me (Ajay) and another few thousand helpful people at SimHq , the premium simulation site on the web. Check in at the Il2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover forum.
Happy Simming

Of all the millions of pictures of World War II this is the one that i keep going back too.
It shows a German soldier in Berlin sitting down out the front of the Reichstag,May 1945.
World War II and all that it entails is my favourite hobby . Reading , gaming , the whole political mess of Europe at the time ,the lead up to and the events after, the technological , scientific and mechanical advances. Man's inhumanity to man , and man's selflessness to man. The whole scope of the conflict continues to pique my interest , many years after i first picked up my Dad's copy of 'nine lives' - the story of a New Zealand fighter pilot- and was enthralled from page one.As a ten year old it definitely left a lasting impression , and took my mind away from the mess that was my junior life.
For me it depicts how far we can let things slide out of control in our so called civilised world.
The video below by Barfly will give you a good overview of Cliffs of Dover
